The FS-FPM200 EPE Sheet Machine has undergone a comprehensive testing process to verify performance, stability, and safety before delivery and installation at the customer’s site. The main objective of this testing is to ensure that the machine can continuously produce EPE foam sheets with consistent thickness, density, and surface quality, while meeting energy efficiency and operational reliability requirements.During initial startup testing, all mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems are inspected. Technicians check the frame structure, drive components, heating zones, cooling sections, and control panels to confirm that installation is correct and that all fasteners are secure. The main motor, frequency inverters, temperature controllers, and sensors are powered on in sequence, and emergency stop and safety protection functions are verified to ensure they work properly.Process testing focuses on raw material feeding, extrusion stability, and foaming effect. Different grades of polyethylene and foaming agents are used to simulate actual production conditions. Parameters such as screw speed, barrel temperature, die head temperature, and cooling time are gradually optimized to obtain uniform foam structure and smooth sheet surface. The thickness range and width adjustment are tested repeatedly to confirm that the machine can quickly switch between different product specifications.Quality inspection is carried out on the EPE sheets produced during testing. Samples are checked for thickness tolerance, density distribution, tensile strength, compression performance, and resilience. Surface appearance is also examined for defects such as bubbles, pits, shrinkage, or color differences. Test data are recorded and compared with target specifications to verify that the FS-FPM200 meets required standards.Continuous operation testing is an important step. The machine is run for an extended period at different speeds and loads to monitor extrusion pressure, motor current, and temperature stability. This helps evaluate long-term reliability and detect any potential issues such as abnormal vibration, noise, or temperature drift. Lubrication status and wear of key parts are observed, and necessary adjustments are made.The control system and human–machine interface are also tested in detail. Operators confirm that parameter setting, recipe storage, alarm display, and data recording functions are clear and easy to use. Interlock logic between the feeder, extruder, and downstream cooling and cutting units is checked to ensure coordinated operation and safe shutdown in case of fault.After completing mechanical, process, quality, and safety tests, a final acceptance report is prepared. This report summarizes key parameters, test results, and any optimization measures taken. Only when all indicators meet the preset requirements is the FS-FPM200 EPE Sheet Machine approved for packaging, shipment, and on-site commissioning at the customer’s facility.
